Gerry's Profile Gerrys musical likes can only be described as eclectic, a big Springsteen fan from his early days, and influenced by his lyrical genius, Gerry spent his yoof writing semi-biographical songs which never really got past the bedroom door, or the bathroom if echo was required! Other musical influences range from Metalica to James Blunt and everything in between. He has a soft spot for Texas whom he followed from early days and currently is a fan of Wolfmother. Like Stevie, Gerry missed out the first time round but is a new devotee of the Wishbone Ash sound. Gerrys pride and joy, (after the family of course!) is his 1956 Hofner Acoustic, which he acquired in his teens after a smooth transaction involving his clarinet, (his mother was so disappointed) New to being part of a band, Gerry is learning a lot from this new experience and lost his gig virginity at the Highlander Bar in Alexandria, now he has to be dragged off stage! Gerry is a footie lover and played for many years, although will tell you he was unlucky not to have his talents really appreciated, anyway he still takes every opportunity to have a kick around, hes also a fan of Glasgow giantsThe Jags!!
