Alan's Profile Alan is not as old as some of the band, but not as young as others either!! He became the singer in the band purely because his brother is Stevie's neighbour, and put them in touch when he heard they were looking for a singer. Alan has been playing in bands for years, and still sings in another band called Whumfff. He was diagnosed with MS 9 years ago, and band life needed some adjustment, but he has stuck with what he loves and is still going strong. Lycanthrope, Rhythm guitar from - '84-'86 Boozy Blues, Lead Guitar, singer - '89 Whumfff, Singer/ Rhythm Guitar - '90-present Strange Affair - '05-present Influences: AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Free ...and of course Wishbone Ash. Other interests: Bike rallies, and has a trike currently under construction. Enjoys real ale, as often as possible, but not so much that the gig has to be split into several sets for toilet breaks!
